Severe pregnancy gingivitis

Severe ‘pregnancy gingivitis’ due to poor oral hygiene, inadequate restorations and tooth malalignment. The tissue proliferation and the strong inflammation of the gums only occurred in the second half of the pregnancy. This patient in the seventh month of her pregnancy already had a moderate form of gingivitis (inflammation of the gums) before her pregnancy.
